The UKM Global Leadership Programme (U-LEAD) 2026 is organized by the International Relations Centre (UKM Global), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). This international mobility programme is designed to develop globally competent, socially responsible, and culturally aware future leaders through academic learning, leadership development, and intercultural engagement.
Participants will gain valuable international exposure through leadership-focused courses, experiential learning activities, field visits, and networking opportunities with students from around the world.
Programme Experience
Participants will:
- Explore key concepts and principles of leadership
- Learn about leadership practices in Malaysia and ASEAN
- Participate in interactive leadership workshops and discussions
- Develop personal branding and leadership identity
- Increase understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Experience Malaysia’s multicultural society through educational and cultural visits
- Build global networks with students from international institutions
- Enhance intercultural competence and global perspectives

Scholarship Opportunity for ITS Students
UKM is offering the following scholarship quota for ITS:
- 1 Full Scholarship (USD 800) for the Physical Programme
- 1 Half Scholarship (USD 400) for the Physical Programme
Students who wish to be considered for the scholarship are encouraged to submit complete application documents before the deadline.

Eligibility (ITS Students)
Open to:
- D4/S1 students
- S2 and S3 students (all batches)
Applicants must:
- Be registered as a full-time student at ITS
- Have completed at least two semesters of study
- Demonstrate good English proficiency in speaking and writing
- Be committed to participating in all programme activities
- Comply with UKM regulations throughout the programme
