Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) welcomes distinguished international academics and professionals to contribute as Adjunct Professors, in an effort to enhance education, research quality, and global collaboration. Through this program, ITS aims to enrich its academic ecosystem by integrating global expertise into strategic areas of development.
Eligible candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent, be a full professor at a leading international university or research institution, and demonstrate a strong academic reputation. Selected adjunct professors are expected to engage in joint research, publish in high-impact journals, and contribute to academic capacity-building through lectures, seminars, or workshops.
Note: this program is not regularly open and is only offered based on departmental needs and available opportunities. Furthermore, the nomination must be initiated by an academic department at ITS. Therefore, interested individuals are encouraged to directly contact the relevant department to discuss possible collaboration and explore the potential for nomination.
Timeline of nomination (tentative)
ITS provides institutional support, including access to facilities, travel and accommodation support, and an annual honorarium. The appointment runs for two years, with performance reviewed based on joint research output and publication achievements.
