Students are invited to join an exciting summer program in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in Paris, designed for engineering students who are interested in aeronautical systems and fluid mechanics. This program offers a comprehensive learning experience combining theoretical knowledge, practical simulation skills, and cultural immersion in one of Europe’s most iconic cities.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of fluid mechanics and its applications in aeronautics, while learning how to use CFD tools to analyze and predict system performance. The program also emphasizes the role of numerical tools in engineering design processes.
Approximately 90 hours of study
Topics include Fluid Mechanics, Aerodynamics, Introduction to Turbulences, and Computational Fluid Dynamics
Hands-on lab work and simulation practice
Wind tunnel experience
Introductory French language and intercultural studies
Company visits and conferences (e.g., ONERA, Eiffel Wind Tunnel)
Cultural activities, including visits to the Seine River (Bateaux-Mouches) and Château de Versailles
