Attention ITS students! The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), one of India’s top universities, is now accepting applications for the Autumn 2026 Semester Exchange Program. Program Overview

• Duration: July – November 2026
• Location: IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India
• Tuition Fees:
  • Waived for students from institutions with an MoU with IIT Bombay.
  • Non-MoU students: INR 5,000 per credit for coursework, INR 10,000 per month for research projects.
• Expenses Covered by Students:
  • Roundtrip flight tickets
  • Travel insurance
  • Quarantine costs (if applicable)
  • Learning materials
  • Accommodation and living expenses

Credit Requirements

• Minimum Credits: 15 per semester
• Maximum Credits: 40 per semester
• Recommended Credits: 15–30 (typically 3–5 courses)

Course selection will be finalized upon admission, and students will be manually registered for their chosen courses.

Accommodation & Fees

• Hostel Charges: INR 7,000 per month (extra days charged at INR 1,000 per day)
• Administration Fees: INR 15,000 per semester
• Mess Advance: INR 27,000 per semester
• Mess Security Deposit: INR 2,000 (refundable)
• Library Deposit: INR 10,000 (optional, refundable)
• Payments can be made via cash (INR) or wire transfer (details will be provided upon arrival).

🩺 Healthcare: IIT Bombay provides basic OPD facilities, but all students must have personal health insurance covering sickness and accidents before arrival.

Eligibility & Entry Regulations

• Open to undergraduate (2023 & 2024) and graduate students from ITS.
• Students must apply for a Student Visa (Tourist Visas are not permitted).
• Course selection is subject to department approval, and students cannot retake courses they have already completed at ITS.

Certified Academic Transcripts (with grade explanation)
Statement of Purpose (SOP)
Study Plan (for coursework) or Research Proposal (for research students)
Bonafide Certificate from ITS (confirming enrollment and permission to study at IIT Bombay)
Two Recommendation Letters from ITS faculty members
Proof of English Proficiency (one of the following):

• Medium of Instruction Certificate (English)
• TOEFL (minimum 580/240/95)
• IELTS (minimum 6.5 overall, 6 in each section)
• Duolingo (minimum 115)

Copy of Passport (personal details page)
Signed Undertaking (confirming responsibility for all expenses)
Parental Support Letter (for ITS students, in Bahasa Indonesia)
Health Insurance Declaration

Submit your application via: ITS Study Abroad Form
Compile all documents into a single .zip/.rar file before submission.
Send a confirmation email to studyabroad@its.ac.id with the subject:
