National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) is now accepting applications for the Fall 2025 Semester Exchange Program (September 2025 – January 2026).

Program Details

  • Tuition Fee: Waived
  • Expenses: Students are responsible for learning materials, accommodation, living expenses, round-trip flight ticket, visa fees, and insurance.
  • Housing Options: On-campus and off-campus.
  • Additional Benefits:
    • Free Chinese language course (3 credits, 4 hours per week).
    • On-campus housing application available.

Eligibility for ITS Students

  • D4/S1 Batch 2022
  • S2 Batch 2024
  • Proficiency in English (Oral & Written)

Cost Estimation

Accommodation

  • On-Campus:
    • International Dorm (Twin Room): NT$17,000/semester
    • Local Dorm (Quad Room): NT$8,500/semester
  • Off-Campus: NT$5,000 – 10,000/month

Living Expenses (Per Month, Excluding Housing)

  • Meals: NT$7,000 – 9,000
  • Local Transportation: NT$500 – 1,500
  • Books (Per Semester): NT$5,000
  • Health Insurance:
    • NSYSU Student Group Insurance: NT$326/semester
    • National Health Insurance (for students staying 6+ months): NT$749/month
  • Internet & Campus Wi-Fi: NT$300/semester

Estimated total monthly living cost (excluding housing): NT$10,000 – 12,000 (~USD 330 – 400).

  12. GCW Non-Degree Certificate or Test Result (Min. C or 80) (For D4/S1 applicants only)

Incomplete applications will not be processed.
