This program was held for the first time this semester with 3 different kinds of activities, basketball, futsal, and volleyball. The concept for these activities is a fun game, which means that international students who come and join this activity will be divided into teams and play against each other. In this semester, International Students Night only held once on 28 February 2020 with basketball as the main activity.
On 28 February 2020, 18.00 P.M to be exact, the participants already gathered at “Fasilitas Olahraga B” basketball court. After that, the participants were warming up together. Then, the participants divided into some teams so that they can play against each other. The first match was done by 2 male teams and followed up with a match by 2 female teams. The participants were enjoying this event and looked enthusiastic.
After some matches which were done consecutively between male teams and female teams, the participants took a break for a while. After the break, participants divided into 2 big teams, which consist of both males and females. Then, the participants played this combined match until the time is over.
At last, when the time was almost 20.00 P.M., the participants stopped playing and did a photo session together at “Fasilitas Olahraga B” basketball court. This marks the end of this activity.
With International Students Night activity, ITS International Students can have a platform for them so that they can do a non-academic activity and also having fun when studying at ITS. Most of the participants wished that this kind of activity will be held more often.
