Yuan Ze University (YZU) Taiwan would like to inform you that the registration for semester exchange application for spring semester 2020 (Feb – June 2020) is already opened.  The tuition fee for this program is waived. However, the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dormitory and living expenses in Taiwan including Roundtrip Flight Ticket, visa fees, facility fee & Insurance.

This program is open for ITS Students D4/S1  batch 2018 & 2017 & S2 all batch

Several important information

  1. Accommodation
    Exchange students can choose to live on-campus dormitory, off-campus apartment or find your own accommodation. You should apply at the time of your exchange application.
  2. Insurance
    You will be required to purchase a commercial medical insurance policy at the cost of approximately NTD 500/month if you do not present your insurance certificate upon registration.
    International students who plan to stay in Taiwan for more than 6 months must enroll in the National Health Insurance (NHI) program. The National Health Insurance Program is mandatory. Any person who doesn’t enroll is subject to a fine of NT$3,000 to NT$15,000. In addition, this person is required to pay the full premiums starting from the date she or he should have been enrolled. No benefits will be offered before the premiums are paid in full. Notice of penalty violation will be delivered in writing and the fine must be paid on time. If the fines imposed remain unpaid, after a given period of time the case will be referred to the courts for compulsory enforcement.
  3. Health Examination
    All incoming students need to take a health examination upon arrival. If you have taken one when applying for your visa, please bring the results certified by our missionary office with you to be exempt from certain items.

please choose 1072 (2019 S) as the reference. Please choose “taught in english” to show all english courses

Please kindly note that ITS Students must take & transfer minimum 10 sks and you are not allowed to repeat the courses.

Here are the required documents that you need to prepare:

1. Application Form & Study Plan

2. Official academic transcript in English.

3. Learning Agreement and Statement Letter (Please download at this link http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange)

4. Scanned of Valid TOEFL/EFL (Score min. 500) Certificate

5. Copy of passport information page(Valid at least one year)

6. Passport Size Photos. Taken within the last six months and against a white background.

7. One recommendation letter from your supervisor/advisor

For ITS Students who are interested with this program please kindly send all of your documents (softcopy in PDF format except photos in JPEG/PNG) to Mr. Wahyu  at studyabroad@its.ac.id with subject : StudentExchange_YZU_Name__NRP maximum on Oct 18, 2019 ( 16.00 WIB). However, you must bring the original of your documents  at interview selection (around 22 or 23 Oct 2019)
