For ITS student who want to experience International Exposure, you can try to continue your study at ASEAN School of Hadron Physics. 
 

Time and Place

The School will be held on February, 28 – March 4, 2016 in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.

Jointly by:

  • Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI),
  • Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), Thailand, and
  • Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), China.

Subject

Lectures of the school may cover the following topics: 

  1. Quark model for hadrons,
  2. Heavy quark effective field theory,
  3. QCD multipole expansion and heavy quarkonium spectroscopy, and
  4. Experimental methods for data analysis.

Scholarship

40 fee waiver scholarships and up to 10 full scholarships will be awarded to participants.

 

Important Message

  • The registration fee, $200 will cover local transportation, accommodations, tea breaks, lunches and dinners.
  • 40 fee waiver scholarships will be awarded.
  • 5 to 10 fee waiver plus airfare scholarships will be awarded to participants from ASEAN nations
  • At least one recommendation letter is required for scholarship applications.

  • Registration deadline: Jan. 31, 2016
  • Recommendation letter deadline: Feb. 3, 2016
  • Announce list of participants and scholarships: Feb. 5, 2016
  • School dates: Feb. 29 – Mar. 4, 2016​​
