To enhance employees’ English communication skills, particularly in serving the academic community and international visitors, the Directorate of Information Technology Development and Systems (DPTSI) organized a Fun English Workshop on June 17–18, 2026.
The workshop featured interactive discussions, quizzes, and conversation simulations, allowing participants to improve their English skills in an enjoyable learning environment.
The workshop began with an introduction session and group discussions about participants’ hobbies, experiences, and the challenges they face when communicating in English. Participants also learned how to respond appropriately and politely in various workplace communication scenarios.
Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in a variety of activities designed to improve their speaking skills, expand their vocabulary, and build confidence in using English. In the final session, participants took part in a role-play exercise simulating interactions with international students seeking assistance or submitting complaints, providing practical experience in handling service-related communication.
Through this workshop, DPTSI hopes participants will become more confident in communicating in English and be better prepared to provide excellent service to the academic community and international visitors.
