Copper wire jewelry has been around for a long time in Indonesia. This type of jewelry often features a complicated and large number of binding techniques, which often results in high production prices and ethnic design styles. Consequently, copper wire jewelry only appeals to certain market segments, namely women who are 30 years old. This is also very unfortunate, especially because as time goes by, the population of the younger generation will increase. Apart from placing second as the biggest jewelry spenders globally, these young adults are expected to have enormous spending power by 2026. One way to attract this generation’s interest is by adjusting to the trends that are currently popular among them, one of them including a jewelry with floral concept. Regarding wire jewelry’s classic style that tends to be on a bigger size, light concept is added in the hopes of making customers perceive this type of jewelry as something lightweight. These two concepts will be inserted into the designing process without overshadowing the essence of wire jewelry itself, the intricate concept. With that said, the concepts will hopefully make wire jewelry more appealing in young generations’ eyes.
