Vision

To become an internationally recognized Department of Architecture, contributing to the Asian region and developing architectural education based on collaborative research and local excellence.

Mission

To contribute to architectural science and technology for the welfare of society through educational activities, research, community service, and management based on information and communication technology.

Goals

  1. To educate and develop student skills, and produce graduates who are virtuous, critical, creative, and excel in architectural science and technology, possessing a strong and independent personality, professionalism, high integrity and responsibility, capable of adapting and developing themselves, and competing at the national and international levels.
  2. To produce relevant and high-quality works based on research and professional practice, rooted in local excellence, and able to contribute to society at the regional, national, and international levels.
  3. To foster a conducive academic atmosphere and uphold academic moral values ​​to foster a dynamic and harmonious campus community.
  4. To establish the Department of Architecture as a center for education, application, and development of science and technology in the fields of architecture, housing and settlements, urban planning, and the environment.

Strategy

General: In general, the Department of Architecture’s goal through its higher education program is to produce graduates with the ability to develop and update science and technology in the fields of architecture, housing and settlements, urban planning, the environment, and development; solve problems in their areas of expertise; and develop their professional performance through research and other academic activities.

Specific: Graduates of the Department of Architecture must meet the following criteria:

  1. Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3 (on a scale of 4) for undergraduate programs and 3.50 (on a scale of 4) for Master’s and Doctoral programs, with timely completion of their studies.
  2. Have good English language skills with a TOEFL score of >477 for Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs and a TOEFL score of >500 for Doctoral programs.
  3. Have the ability to disseminate the results of their thinking and research in the fields of architecture, housing and settlements, urban planning, the environment, and development on an international scale in the form of scientific publications
