CommTECH Camp Insight 2025 Stream 2
On February 24, 2025, the Department of Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) held the CommTECH Camp Insight 2025 Stream 2 event with the theme “The Future of Zero-Emission Mobility”. The event was attended by 34 participants from various universities from the Philippines, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Cambodia, Japan, India, Russia, and New Zealand.
CommTECH Camp Insight is an international program designed to exchange ideas, collaborate on sustainable innovation, and deepen understanding of the role of technology in community development. In Stream 2 at the Department of Industrial Mechanical Engineering session, participants were invited to explore the development of zero-emission mobility technology that is growing rapidly in the world. In addition to the workshop, participants were also invited to directly try the Nogogeni car. Nogogeni is an energy-efficient vehicle developed by research teams from various Departments of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) with the homebase of the Industrial Mechanical Engineering Department. The ITS Nogogeni team has created several generations of energy-efficient cars, including the Nogogeni VII and Nogogeni IX Evo, which are designed to compete in the Mobil Hemat Energi Contest (KMHE) and other competitions. Through CommTECH Camp Insight 2025 Stream 2, ITS continues to be committed to encouraging sustainable innovation and the development of environmentally friendly technologies. It is hoped that this program can inspire more global collaboration in creating zero-emission mobility solutions for a greener future.
