Coastal and Port Infrastructure Lab - Departemen Teknik Kelautan

The scope of research services at the Laboratory of Coastal and Marine Environment, covering three areas::

Applied Research / Research includes research work in the coastal area: shoreline changes, reclamation, sedimentation and dredging, erosion, abrasion, scouring on bridge pillars, tides, tsunamis, marine pollution, application of artificial coral reefs, arrangement of coastal areas and so on.
Field surveys and laboratory tests: soil investigation work, feasibility study, topography, and bathymetry survey, hydro-oceanographic surveys (tides, waves, currents, water quality, etc.).
Technical Consultation: technical planning work and design details on coastal buildings include: master plan for ports, docks, groins, seawall, bulkhead, jetty, breakwater, as well as studies on coastal cells, shoreline changes, marine pollution, coastal and coastal management, index coastal vulnerability and so on
