Study Program

Being in an engineering program does not stop Engineering Physics students from continuing to innovate and engaging in various academic and extracurricular activities. Joining a student community is essential for building a broad network, expanding insights and skills, and enjoying recreational activities.
It is the duty of all cultured individuals to preserve the culture of their nation and country. Engineering Physics students are committed to keeping Angklung, one of Indonesia's traditional musical instruments, popular among the youth. Kluntung TF has extensive experience performing at various ITS events.
In addition to UKMs (Student Activity Units) at the institute level, Engineering Physics students can participate in routine training sessions with departmental teams facilitated by the Sports and Health Division of HMTF ITS.

Training activities aimed at expanding student knowledge and skills, organized by HMTF ITS or the Faculty and Institute Student Executive Boards (BEM).
A culture of competition is deeply ingrained in every ITS student. Naturally, Engineering Physics students contribute by participating in various championships according to their respective interests and talents.
One of the three pillars of higher education (Tridharma) is community service. Engineering Physics students channel their contributions through various activities ranging from education and socio-cultural initiatives to technology introduction.
On-campus or off-campus activities aimed at strengthening brotherhood and serving as a means to refresh the mind.
Establishing relations with other student organizations and associations both within and outside ITS for comparative studies, joint projects, or sharing experiences. One form of collaboration is FKMTF (Engineering Physics Student Communication Forum) Indonesia, which comprises student representatives from all universities in Indonesia that offer an Engineering Physics program.
Students' enthusiasm for learning and conducting research to advance their knowledge never ceases. Engineering Physics students, both independently and under the guidance of lecturers, engage in numerous activities beneficial to the development of science.
The Department of Engineering Physics regularly organizes guest lectures featuring speakers from alumni, industry professionals, and academics from both domestic and international institutions. This initiative provides students with insights into the real-world applications of their studies, as well as opportunities for higher education and joint research across various fields.
In addition to guest lectures, Engineering Physics students also participate in visits to various industries and other academic departments across Indonesia through Excursion Studies and Company Visits.
