DTEO New – On a spirited Friday, August 29, 2025, the extended family of the Faculty of Vocational Studies gathered in front of Room BB102 of the Department of Automation Electrical Engineering for the Vocational Forum event. This event was held as a means for fellowship, togetherness, and strengthening synergy between lecturers, students, and faculty leadership.
The series of activities began with participant registration and the distribution of lottery coupons, which were to be used later in the door prize giveaway session. Following registration, the atmosphere grew warmer with a group exercise session led by an instructor, an effort to maintain health while fostering camaraderie among all participants.
The festivity continued with a ball relay race that pitted a team of lecturers against a team of students. Laughter and a spirit of sportsmanship were clearly evident throughout the competition. No less exciting, the event continued with a sarung (traditional woven cloth) relay race, which added to the fun and familiarity among the participants. After the competitions, participants jointly enjoyed a meal during the communal dining session, creating a warm and intimate family-like atmosphere.
Entering the core of the event, the Vocational Forum was held, led directly by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Studies. In this session, various important matters were discussed regarding the faculty’s development, student aspirations, and the future direction for strengthening the role of vocational education in the world of education and industry.
The event then continued with the announcement of the competition winners and the distribution of prizes to the teams that managed to demonstrate the best teamwork. Not only that, lucky participants also received prizes from the lottery coupon draw, adding to the joy and happiness of the event.
With a heart full of gratitude, the Vocational Forum was concluded with the hope that the synergy between lecturers, students, and faculty leadership would grow stronger, and that this would be a concrete step towards leading the Faculty of Vocational Studies to more brilliant achievements.
