A clean environment is the foundation for a productive learning and working spirit. On Friday, August 1, 2025, the Department of Automation Electrical Engineering (DTEO) at ITS once again held its Friday activity.
Shining in the department’s environment. This activity was enthusiastically participated in by lecturers, educational staff, and students, filled with a spirit of togetherness.
This program is part of DTEO’s contribution to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on:
✔ SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: Creating a healthy and clean environment as a preventive measure to safeguard the health of the entire academic community.
✔ SDG 13 – Climate Action: Reducing pollution footprint through tangible actions by cleaning the campus area of waste, particularly plastic waste which poses a risk to the environment 🌍.
The activity was carried out comprehensively around the DTEO building — starting from the PBL area, the surroundings of Plaza Kota, the Cypiral Laboratory, Room AA102, to Rooms 107 and 108. Besides being a form of environmental care, “Jum’at Berseri” (Shining Friday) also served as a moment to strengthen collaboration among members of the DTEO community 💪🌱
With the spirit of gotong royong (mutual cooperation), we believe that significant change starts with consistent small steps. Let’s maintain cleanliness today, for a more sustainable future of our Earth 🌎💚
