Degree program

The Information System Department is under the Information Technology Faculty, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya. The information system has a vision to be the center of excellence in education in the information system, especially in the application and application of information system design and development, decision support systems and business intelligence. Information System students are prepared to be human beings who are skilled in designing and analyzing information system requirements for organizations, designing project development in the context of a comprehensive information system combining aspects of IT infrastructure (information technology), such as hardware, software, networks, data, organizational hierarchy, processes and procedures, and do not forget human and cultural resources, and policies and regulations. Students are also provided with basic skills and advances in the application and development of software, network infrastructure, maintenance of information management systems from the organization.

Graduates of the S1 Information Systems Department will provide knowledge about four roles, namely information system developers (IS Developers), consultants and system integrators, database specialists, and information system academics. In addition, students will also be equipped with skills in designing and analyzing information system requirements for organizations, designing project development in the context of a comprehensive information system combining aspects of IT infrastructure (information technology), such as hardware, software, networks, data, organizational hierarchy, processes and procedures, human resources and culture, and policies and regulations.
