Call for Papers

We are cordially invited all researchers, academicians, students, practitioners, and observers to join our The 3rd International Conference on Management of Technology, Innovation, and Project (MOTIP 03) to submit and disseminate the research paper, best practices, and ideas related to the theme and topic of interest. The theme for MOTIP 03 is “Technology as an enabler to survive post Covid-19”.

Associate Prof. Himanshu Shee

(Victoria University, Australia)

Dr. Himanshu Shee is currently Associate Professor at Victoria University, specializing in operations, supply chain & logistics management as well as SAP-APO optimisation module. With a good track record in research, publications and higher degree research supervision, he has published in many journals like Int Journal of Logistics Management (IJLM), SCM: an Int. Journal, Int journal of physical distribution and logistics management (IJPDLM), Australian journal of Info systems (AJIS), Int. Journal of Logistics: Research & Applications, IIMB Management Review, Asian Academy of Management Journal, IJGBC, JMO, and JTM. Being a recipient of Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Research and Research Training (supervision) in 2017, Dr Shee has contributed significantly to research and PhD supervision. His conference presentation includes POMS, EUROMA, Academy of Management (AOM), ANZAM-OM and IS-DSI. He received the Best Paper Award in Technology, Innovation & Supply Chain Management stream as well as the 31st ANZAM Excellence Award. His teaching experience spans across Australia, China, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Fiji and India. He has received Dean’s Outstanding Educator award for his scholarship in teaching. Currently, he is the course chair of Master of SCM and Graduate Certificate in Transport Systems at Victoria University.

 

Further, he authored a book on Firm Competitiveness: Case of Software firms. His interdisciplinary research includes both SCM and emerging communication technology applications in supply chain that includes cloud technology, IoT, Block chian, BDA-enabled supply chain integration, sustainable supply chain management, strategic logistics outsourcing, buyer-supplier dyadic relationship, and supply chain innovation. Dr Shee has been acting as reviewer for IJPDLM, IJLM, Associate Editor of Operations Management Research (OMR) Journal, Indian Journal of Commerce, Associate editor of International Journal of Global Business and Competitiveness (IJGBC), editorial board member of IIMB Management Review and a regular reviewer for many reputed journals and conferences. He was appointed earlier as a Board member of IS-DSI India conference for 2016 and invited track chair in 2017 IS-DSI conference. He was successful in receiving VU Fellowship projects for three consecutive years.

Submission

To participate in this event, you can submit only the abstract first, then submit the full paper after that abstract is accepted.

Abstract Submission

Please go to our conference management system to submit your abstract.

Note that an abstract should contain between 200–300 words, outlining the background, methodology, and the results of your research. Include up to six keywords and topic area in your submission.

Full Paper Submission

All manuscripts must be original and should have not been previously accepted in another conference or be under review at another conference. They must be original and unpublished. Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word. Please refer to the Author Guidelines for preparing the manuscript.

All manuscripts must be written in English. The normal length of a paper for proceedings is 6-12 pages including tables, charts and references.

The main body of the paper should be numbered in consecutive order a:

General Rules

  1. Dress code: formal or batik (no t-shirt).
  2. Presenter should be use the virtual background download here. Thus, the video should be on during presentation.
  3. Rename your zoom account with format: ID_full name, example: 150_Widya Kusumawardhani.
  4. Kindly join the sessions here.
  5. To obtain certificate of presenter, you must attend the whole session, from opening session, parallel sessions, giving presentation, until closing ceremony by accessing this link during the conference.
  6. The proof of attendance can be a screen shoot of the webinar page, containing the material slide and/or the speaker, your face, and your name.
  7. Please fill this attendance report by uploading your proof of attendance here.
  8. Our staff will check your name anytime during conference for certificate eligibility.

Presentation Rules

  1. The Session chairs will conduct the parallel session, they will be helped by an assistant as an administrator and a time keeper.
  2. You must attend to the webinar at least 5 minutes before the opening session will be started. Kindly report to the session chair when you arrive at virtual meeting before the session is started.
  3. The presentation time is 15 minutes per presenter, including question and answer. Session chair will interrupt and stop the presentation if the time is over.
  4. Presentation slide and speech must be delivered in English, the presentation template can be downloaded here.
  5. Question and answer must be delivered in English.

Technical Suggestions

  1. Presentation using laptop/computer is preferable.
  2. You should looking for comfortable and quite place to avoid any disturbance for the whole session.
  3. Before the conference, make sure that your connection, audio, video, and any other technical function in your zoom application running properly.
  4. Having back up/alternative internet connection is preferable.
  5. For those who not familiar to present in the ZOOM Platform, we facilitate you to try it in our Practice Session which will held by request.
