Kamis 27 Agustus telah dilaksanakan kegiatan Workshop Series on Applied Mathematics and Computing Sciences (Part 1) yang diselengarakan oleh departemen Matematika ITS melalui media Zoom dan live Youtube. Workshop ini diikuti oleh 130 peserta baik dari ITS maupun luar ITS, kegiatan ini merupakan workshop yang pertama dari empat workshop yang dijadwalkan, workshop ini adalah rangkain World Class Professor (WCP) 2020.
