Jasminea, a student from the ITS Mathematics Department, has once again brought honor to her alma mater by securing third place in the prestigious Brawijaya University Karate Championship 2024. This esteemed competition was organized by Brawijaya University and saw participation from contestants across Indonesia.
Jasminea competed in the Women’s Senior Individual Kumite 61 Kg category. With high fighting spirit and extraordinary dedication, she showcased her best abilities on the mat. On her journey to the podium, Jasminea faced several tough opponents but managed to overcome each challenge with well-planned strategies and refined techniques.
Jasminea’s success is not only a personal achievement but also a source of pride for the entire academic community of the ITS Mathematics Department. This accomplishment demonstrates that ITS Mathematics students excel not only in academics but also in sports.
The Head of the ITS Mathematics Department, Prof. Subchan, expressed his appreciation and pride for Jasminea’s achievement. “We are very proud of Jasminea’s accomplishment. Jasminea herself expressed her gratitude for this achievement. “I am very thankful to my coach, friends, and family who have always supported me. I dedicate this achievement to them and to ITS,” said Jasminea.
