Engineers in Action is an international community service in which foreign students and lecturers team up with ITS team to make an innovation to solve real problems in Surabaya’s Kampung by applying knowledge and technology. The team works together and conducts several activities including data collection, preliminary study, and innovation project.

In 2017 Engineers in Action embraced National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) students to deal with wastewater management problem; affording them to apply engineering methods on water conservation
