Brief overview

ASAIHL, founded in 1956 in Bangkok, is a non-governmental regional organization that has an aim to assist member institutions to strengthen themselves through mutual self-help to achieve distinction in teaching, research, and public service, thereby contributing to their respective nations and beyond.

• 2012: 30th General Conference on New Approaches in Teaching and Learning at Tertiary Level, 6-7 December 2012 in Philippines
• 2014: 31st General Conference on Education Innovation for the Knowledge-based Economy: Curriculum, Pedagogy and Technology, Singapore, 2-5 December 2014
• 2016: 32nd General Conference on Borderless Open Access Education in Malaysia during 4-6 December 2016
• 2017: 33rd General Conference on Higher Education Challenges in Shaping the Nation Competitiveness during 16-19 May 2017

Potential activities

Numerous scholarships were offered for ASAIHL members in the past, including from NUS, National Taiwan University (2017), Air Asia Fellowship (2017). However, most recent activities focuses more on conference on education.
