Since 2022, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has organized International Partnership Day (IPD) as an annual virtual forum to strengthen and expand its global engagement. The event serves as a strategic platform to nurture sustainable collaboration with international partner institutions while reinforcing ITS’s commitment to advancing internationalization in higher education.
Each year, IPD brings together ITS and its partners to reflect on the progress of collaborations over the past year, including student and faculty mobility, joint research initiatives, and the implementation of institutional agreements. The program also features updates on ITS flagship programs and strategic priorities for the upcoming year, providing partners with insights into new opportunities for collaboration.
A key highlight of this event is the breakout discussion sessions, where participants engage in focused conversations on specific topics such as student exchange, faculty exchange, short programs, joint research, and other collaborative initiatives. These sessions create meaningful space for dialogue, idea exchange, and the development of concrete follow-up actions.
In addition to engaging international university partners, ITS also conducts a dedicated Partnership Day session for Indonesian Overseas Representatives (Embassies, Consulates, and Trade Offices), expressing appreciation for their continued support in promoting Indonesian higher education institutions, including ITS, while strengthening coordination in advancing education diplomacy and international cooperation.
International Partnership Day connects partners worldwide to foster collaboration in education, research, and innovation, strengthening global engagement towards #PartnershipForExcellence.
