My motivation of studying abroad is to discover different ways of studying, living, culture and food.

When I came to Indonesia, the challenge for me was the food, as the food here is very different than in Europe. There are also some other challenges that I have to face but ITS Global Engagement did a really good job at helping the international students adapt in Indonesia.

My favorite event organized by ITS GE is the Cultural Camp. it was a great experience living with local people and discovering the nature around Malang.

My advice for future ITS international students is to learn at least some basic phrases in Bahasa Indonesia because the local people like to speak with you but often they do not know English.
