At ITS Global Engagement, we believe that international exposure is a crucial aspect of education. To offer this valuable experience to students, we are excited to announce the Communal Study Excursion 2026!

This is an opportunity for students from all departments of all batches (Undergraduate, Post-Graduate) to explore more about universities, culture, and technology around THE GLOBE!

    • J.F. Oberlin University, Tokyo (6-10 April 2026)
    • Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo (18 – 22 May 2026 & 26-30 October 2026)
    • Saga University, Saga (25-29 May 2026)
    • Kumamoto University, Kumamoto (26-30 October 2026)
  3. Australia (5 days – September 2026)
  4. Thailand (5 days – Late May or Early June 2026)
  5. South Korea (5 days – August 2026)

Note: each destination has limited seats

Here are the requirements that you need to prepare to join this program:

  1. Scanned of passport information page (with minimum validity 1 year prior to the departure of the program – check program date)
  2. Statement Letter (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange , you don’t need to change anything, except replace signature of your Head of Dept with your parents signature.)
  3. Certificate of English Proficiency Test (if any – not required)
  4. Committed to pay the registration fee and actively participate in all program activities from the beginning to the end.

    *Note: on-site visits do not satisfy the minimum credit-hour requirements for obtaining 2 credits. Therefore, students who are interested to earn credits must actively engage in guest lectures held in ITS to fulfill the required credit-hour for achieving 2 credits. The credit can be claimed through these courses: “Kompetensi dan Wawasan Global” (2 credits).

Credit Earnings

Students seeking to earn credits must actively participate in a minimum of 12 hours of international seminars featuring international speakers. These seminars can be organized by ITS GE, Departments or other unit in ITS. Students can enroll in one of the following courses: Kompetensi dan Wawasan Global | UG234943. 

Students who attend more than 12 hours will receive a Stamp-4-It, which can be used to claim funding support for future programs. Proof of attendance and a copy of the seminar poster are required for credit claims or funding applications

Program Highlights

The Communal Study Excursion to Curtin University invites students to experience the dynamic academic environment of Western Australia.
