Program Overview

Date: July 6 – 10, 2026
Location: IIT Bombay, India (On-site)

The International Summer School 2026 is organized by IIT Bombay and is open exclusively to international students at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels.


Course Information

  • A wide range of courses delivered by expert faculty at IIT Bombay
  • All courses are conducted in English
  • Some courses may have prerequisites
  • Students are advised to review course requirements carefully before applying

Course Registration

  • Participants may enroll in only one course
  • Students can indicate up to three course preferences
  • If accepted into multiple courses, participants must select one
  • Final selection is determined by the respective course instructors
  • Course details

 Fees & Funding

  • Registration Fee: USD 150
    Covered by the SATU Presidents’ Forum for students from member universities

Accommodation & Meals

  • Complimentary on-campus accommodation
  • Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Duration: July 5 – 12, 2026
  • Check-out: July 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM

Participant Expenses

Participants are responsible for:

  • Airfare
  • Visa processing fees
  • Local transportation to IIT Bombay

Certificate

Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the program.

Course Load & Attendance

  • Total of 20 instructional hours per course
  • Minimum 80% attendance is required

Participant Quota

  • Total capacity: 20 international students
  • Each university may nominate up to 2 students
  • Selection is based on the order of completed applications

Eligibility for ITS Students

  • Open to Diploma, Bachelor (S1), and Master (S2) students from batches 2023 to 2025

Required Documents

  1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  2. Scanned passport (valid for at least one year from July 1, 2025)

  3. Student ID card or Certificate of Enrollment

  4. Statement Letter (download: bit.ly/its-short-program)

  5. Learning Agreement (only for those applying for credit transfer)

  6. Parental Support Letter – Must state parental consent and financial support

All documents must be combined in one .zip or .rar file in PDF format.

Application Procedure

  1. Submit your application via https://its.id/studyabroadITS

  2. After submitting the form, send an email to studyabroad@its.ac.id with the subject:
    “Confirmation Study Abroad Application_SummerSchoolIIT_NAME_NRP”

Extended Submission Deadline: 10 April 2026 (09.00 WIB)
