Rennes School of Business, France, Semester Exchange Spring 2026

We are pleased to announce that the semester exchange application for Spring 2026 at Rennes School of Business, France is now open. This is a tuition-waived program, meaning selected students will not pay tuition fees at RSB. However, all other expenses including flight tickets, visa, insurance, accommodation, and daily living costs are the responsibility of the student.

Please make sure to review the entry regulations issued by the French Government prior to your departure.


Program Information

(Intake: End of January – Beginning of May 2026)

Available Levels and Course Lists:

  • Undergraduate Exchange – Level 3 (for 3rd year Bachelor’s students)

  • Undergraduate Exchange – Level 4 (for 4th year Bachelor’s students)

  • Postgraduate Exchange – Level 5 (for Master’s students)

Note: Students can only join one program level. Mixing courses from different levels is not allowed.

Academic Requirements

  • Level 2: Minimum 60 ECTS in Business Studies (1 year)

  • Level 3 & 4: Minimum 120 ECTS in Business Studies (2 years)

  • Level 5: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (180 ECTS or 3 years in Business Studies)


Minimum Course Load per Semester

(Subject to slight changes)

  • Level 2: 7 Management courses

  • Level 3: 4 Management courses (1 full track + at least 1 core course)

  • Level 4: 4 Management courses

  • Level 5: Between 3 and 5 courses (from 1 specialization only)


Accommodation

Once accepted, students will receive access to RSB’s accommodation platform, which provides options near the campus from private landlords, residence halls, and real estate agencies. Early booking is highly recommended.

Insurance

All international students are encouraged to have comprehensive private insurance.

  • Non-European students can benefit from French Social Security (partial refund of medical costs).

  • European students must bring the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).


Visa

Non-European students must apply for a student visa (VLS-TS) as soon as they receive the acceptance letter from RSB.
It may take up to 3 months to get a visa appointment, so early preparation is essential. Students are advised to contact the nearest Campus France office for assistance.


Welcome Program

RSB’s Well’Come Association will assist international students upon arrival and help them adjust to life in Rennes. The association also organizes cultural visits, events, and social activities with French students.

Estimated Living Costs in Rennes

  • Housing: €450 – €700/month

  • Food: €150 – €200/month

  • Local transportation: €25.20/month

  • Phone subscription: €15 – €20/month

  • Other costs (visa, insurance, CVEC, etc.): €150 – €300/year

Students with a visa status of “Étudiant” may be eligible for French CAF housing allowance (€50–€160/month).

  1. Curriculum Vitae (max. 2 pages)

  2. Official academic transcript (English version, signed and stamped) – GPA ≥ 3.0

  3. Valid passport (at least 1 year before expiry)

  4. Passport-sized photo

  5. English Proficiency Certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, or TOEIC – screenshots not accepted)

  6. Letter of Motivation

  7. Two recommendation letters from academic advisors

  10. Parental consent letter (in Bahasa) stating full support (no format required)

  11. GCW Non-Degree Certificate (min. C) or GCW test result (min. 80). S2 students may use R2SEP certificate instead.

Note: Incomplete or late submissions will not be processed.
