Dear ITS Students, INSA Lyon, France would like to inform you that the registration for Information Science & Technology Semester Fall 2022 (Agustus-December 2022) is already opened. The tuition fee for this program is NOT WAIVED. The accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dormitory and living expenses in France, including Roundtrip Flight Ticket, visa fees, facility fee & Insurance. The students also need to check entry regulations from France Government.
The “Information Science & Technology Semester” is a program jointly organized by three engineering departments of INSA Lyon:

in collaboration with three research centres of INSA Lyon CITI <http://www.citi.insa-lyon.fr/> CREATIS <http://www.creatis.insa-lyon.fr> LIRIS <http://liris.cnrs.fr>
This program only opened for students from batch 2019 with related field of studies.
Content of courses : A full IST semester program is composed of 6 scientific courses (to bechosen among 12) and a research or technical project to be conducted within one of the IST research centres (CITI, CREATIS, LIRIS).
The 30 ECTS of the IST Semester are obtained by : – 6 scientific courses * 3 ECTS = 18 ECTS – R&D project: 10 ECTS – French course : 2 ECTS
Weekly schedule : Each week of the IST semester program is structured with 2 days of courses and 3 days in research labs. Note that in parallel to these courses and project, the French language course (2 hours per week) is given during the whole semester. Language : English. Period : The IST semester runs from mid-september to December. (12 weeks)
This program also including the French Summer School
– French language courses have the FLE, Français Langue Etrangère (French as Foreign Language) label. Initiated by the French State, FLE certification recognises institutions whose language instruction and services ensure high quality. – 85 hours of lectures of French as a foreign language – 16 students per group based on students’ level of French, from beginner to advanced
Sports tournaments, music quizzes or giant BBQs… there’s something new every day to make sure you enjoy your time on the campus! Cultural visits are organised at the weekend. You will visit the vibrant City of Lyon, known as the French Capital of Gastronomy, and European Capital of Smart Tourism in 2019. You will also discover some beautiful surroundings, as Lyon is based in the middle of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, between two rivers, the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea. The school ends in September with the “Spectacle de l’Ecole d’été”, a signature show organised by the summer school participants.
The fee of the program is approx. 7.000 Euro. This program fees include: – Tuition Fee – French Summer School – French Lessons: 2h/week – Student Union’s subscription – On-campus accommodation from mid August-end of December , beding included – On-campus restauration seven days a week excluding saturday night, from mid August-end of December
The program fees do not include: – Travel expenses – Passport and visa fees – Personal items and expenses – Health insurance – Annual Sport’s association fees (34€) – Wifi on campus for 12€/month

The incomplete application will not proceed by Mobility Team. ITS Students must consult with your parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are support you (all financial & mental) to join this program. You need to submit it during interview process
