University of Regina is holding “Small Changes, Big Impact” in partnership with the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) which is a solution based and experience oriented learning program to address sustainability topics from a Saskatchewan perspective.
One of the programs is UMAP Discovery Camp AIRVENTURE AIRLANGGA– Indonesia. AIRVENTURE is an annual international program focusing on life science aspects. This program aims to provide knowledge and experience regarding the natural resources in Indonesia. Through AIRVENTURE, participants are expected to be able to observe and explore the protection, preservation, management and restoration of flora and fauna as natural resources that should be taking care for. This program raises a SDG theme, namely “Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss”
