Dear ITS Students,

Kumamoto University Short-term Exchange Program for October 2019 intake is now open for applications. Third-year undergraduate students (S1 2016), who are interested in the Japanese language, Japanese and Asian society and culture, advanced science and technology, and interactions with other international students, are more than welcome to apply. Required Documents

1. Application for Kumamoto University Short-Term Exchange Program
2. Application for Certificate of Eligibility
3. Application for Applying to Rent a Room at the International House
4. Certificate of Enrollment (Issued by home university)
5. Academic record (Official home university transcript)
6. Letter of Recommendation
7. Health Certificate
8. Certificate of Financial Support (certificate of bank account balance, certificate of income, etc.)
9. Four photographs (40mm x 30mm)
10. Copy of the first page of applicant’s passport
11. Required Documents related to Language Proficiency

• J-Course applicants: Japanese-Language Proficiency Test Certificate of Result and Scores of level N3 or more, Certificate of Japanese Ability equivalent to N3 or more to be issued by the home university
• E-Course applicants: TOEFL score for non-native English speakers or Certificate of English Ability equivalent to TOEFL iBT score of 61 or more to be issued by the home university.

Submission Deadline
