Formosa Talent Internship Program (Formosa TIP) – International Internship Opportunity in Taiwan, Spring 2027

Surabaya, ITS Global Engagement – National Formosa University (NFU) in Taiwan is pleased to invite students from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) to participate in the Formosa Talent Internship Program (Formosa TIP). This program offers a valuable opportunity for international exposure and practical experience in a vibrant academic environment.

Program Details:

• Program Name: Formosa Talent Internship Program (Formosa TIP)
• Host University: National Formosa University (NFU), Taiwan
• Program Focus: The internship aims to provide practical experience and enhance students’ academic profiles.
• Program Period: February 15 – June 28, 2027

Eligibility:

• Open to ITS students.
• Highly motivated final-year students from partner universities (like ITS) who intend to apply for a Master’s program at NFU after completing the internship may be eligible for a tuition waiver.
• Eligible students for tuition waiver must be nominated by their home university (ITS).

Tuition & Financial Information:

1. Tuition Waiver: The standard tuition fee for international students in the Formosa Talent Internship Program (Formosa TIP) is NTD 36,000. However, students from partner universities may receive a full tuition waiver subject to availability and eligebility.
2. TEEP Scholarship (Monthly Stipend): Each student may receive a TEEP scholarship ranging from NTD 8,000 to NTD 12,000 per month. The scholarship amount awarded to each student will be announced seperately.
3. End-of-semester Overall Performance Scholarship (up-to NTD10,000)
4. NFU Sponsorship such as airport pickup and other campus activities.

This opportunity is open to:

• ITS Diploma and S1 students from Batch 2023 & 2024

• All S2 students

• Applicants from any department relevant to the offered topics

4. Scanned Passport (valid for at one year from February 2027)

5. Valid English Proficiency Certificate (TOEFL ITP/iBT/IELTS/DET equal to CEFR B1)

   • EFL is acceptable; TEFL from Dirpendik is not accepted
