Jamk University of Applied Sciences (Jamk), Finland, invites Bachelor’s and Master’s students to join the Jamk Summer School in Leadership – A Nordic Experience 2027, taking place from 28 May to 17 June 2027 in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Celebrating its 15th edition, this internationally recognized programme combines future-oriented leadership education, international perspectives, and cultural immersion. With more than 2,000 students having participated over the years, the Summer School offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow in an international environment.

Academic Programme

Students can choose courses from two modules:

1. Global Leadership and Decision Making

• International Business Speaking

• Global Leadership and Cultural Intelligence

• Services Design

• European Corporate Finance

• Risks in Business

   

2. Next Generation Business Leadership

• Business Creativity

• Business Simulation

• AI Tools for Managers

• Cybersecurity for Business Managers

• XR Technologies in Business

   

Each course carries 3 ECTS credits. Students can select up to four courses and earn up to 12 ECTS credits through the programme. Upon completion, participants receive an official Jamk Transcript of Records and a certificate of participation. Courses are taught by international faculty representing Canada, China, Finland, India, Pakistan, and the United States.

Beyond the Classroom

The Summer School also offers a variety of activities to help students experience Finnish culture and build international friendships, including:

• A weekend trip to Helsinki, Finland’s capital

• A visit to the historic town of Porvoo

• A traditional Finnish smoke sauna experience, lake swimming, outdoor games, and dinner

• A dinner cruise on Lake Päijänne

• Football tournaments, outdoor picnics, and a closing celebration

   

Students can also join optional excursions to Tallinn, Estonia, or Stockholm, Sweden, and enjoy a round of golf at JyväsGolf. For accommodation, several options are available, including Hotel Verso, Hotel GreenStar, Forenom apartments, and private Airbnb stays.
