Malang – Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) participated in the Netherlands Knowledge House (NLKH) Indonesian Members Meeting hosted by Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), bringing together Indonesian member universities to strengthen academic collaboration with Dutch higher education institutions and formulate the 2026 joint work agenda.
Organized with the support of Nuffic Southeast Asia, the meeting served as a platform for Indonesian members to discuss future collaborative programs while mapping institutional expertise across strategic thematic areas.
During the discussion, ITS reaffirmed its commitment to lead several strategic expertise areas within the NLKH network, particularly in Energy, Digitalisation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Maritime/Blue Marine, Automotive and Transportation, Defence, Creative Industries, and Semiconductors. In addition, ITS also expressed its readiness to actively contribute to other key themes, including Water, Health, Environmental Sciences, Urban Development, Disaster Management, and Faith-based Climate Action.
By taking leadership roles in these focus areas, ITS aims to strengthen Indonesia–Netherlands collaboration through joint research, innovation, knowledge exchange, and capacity-building initiatives. These efforts support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), by advancing international partnerships and developing innovative solutions to address global challenges.
