About the Program

VIT‑AP University, India, invites international students to join the AI Summer Internship & Research Program 2026, an on‑campus academic and research program designed to provide hands‑on experience in advanced and applied technologies.

The program offers interdisciplinary exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Electronics, Healthcare, Sustainability, and Communication Systems, supported by academic supervision and industry‑oriented research projects, along with cultural immersion activities in India.

Program Duration

Participants may choose one of the following 6‑week slots:

• Slot 1: 1 June – 15 July 2026
• Slot 2: 1 July – 15 August 2026

Students applying for SENSE projects may opt for a second internship project during the same 6‑week period, subject to approval, without additional fees.

Program Fee and Coverage

Registration Fee: USD 300
(per slot, 6 weeks)

The fee includes:

• Accommodation (4‑bedded air‑conditioned room)
• Daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• Welcome kit and ID card
• Cultural activities and field trips
• Local tourism activities
• Pick‑up and drop‑off from Vijayawada airport or railway station

Eligibility

• Pre‑final year and final‑year undergraduate students (Engineering / Science)
• Master’s students

Maximum nominations per university: 10 students

Required Documents

1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)

2. Scanned Official Academic Transcript

3. Motivation Letter (1–2 pages)

4. Scanned Passport (valid for at one year from February 2026)

5. Valid English Proficiency Certificate (TOEFL ITP/iBT/IELTS/DET equal to CEFR B1)

   • EFL is acceptable; TEFL from Dirpendik is not accepted

6. Statement Letter – Download here

   • If not available, you may submit proof of communication with your department first

8. Formal Photo (JPEG format)

9. GCW/R2SEP/RSEP certificate

Note: Incomplete documents will not be processed.
