Chonnam National University (CNU), South Korea, is now accepting applications for the Fall 2025 Semester Exchange Program.

Program Benefits

• Tuition fee waived.

• ITS Global Engagement may select up to two ITS students to receive the AIMS Scholarship, subject to Chonnam National University’s confirmation as an AIMS participating institution for 2026. The scholarship is typically available for students applying to the Engineering or AI Convergence departments.

  In particular, we would like to highlight the following benefits offered to AIMS students:
  • Up to 2 students per university will be provided with dormitory accommodation and meal support
  • Participating students will have the opportunity to engage in research activities in laboratories alongside graduate students

• Other accepted students can still join without the AIMS scholarship.

Note: Students are responsible for their own expenses, including flights, visa, travel insurance, dormitory fees, quarantine (if required), and living costs.

Eligibility

• ITS students (D4/S1) Batch 2024 & 2023.

• Majors must match CNU’s available departments.

• Students must check available courses in advance.

Academic Information

• Up to 20 SKS transferable at ITS (compulsory, elective, or MBKM).

• Maximum credits at CNU: 18 credits (6 courses for undergraduates; 3 courses for graduates).

• Students cannot retake courses already completed at ITS.

• English-taught course list will be released on January.

• AIMS students must take lab course activities (details to be announced).

Housing and Living Costs

• Exchange students must stay in the campus dormitory.

• AIMS recipients receive dormitory and meal plan support.

• Other students must cover dormitory and living costs independently.

Required Documents

1. Curriculum Vitae (CV).

2. One-page Study Plan (TNR 12, margin 3-3-3-3; mention intended department).

3. Official Academic Transcript in English (GPA minimum 2.75).

4. Certificate of Enrollment.

5. Passport copy (valid at least until September 2027).

6. Valid English proficiency test score (TOEFL ITP ≥ 500 / IELTS / TOEFL iBT).

   • Not accepted: Duolingo, TOEFL Prediction, screenshots, Dirpendik TOEFL.

   • IUP students may submit a department statement confirming English instruction.

7. Recommendation letter from academic advisor.

8. Statement Letter & Learning Agreement (download here).

   • Signed by Head of Department.

   • Batch 2022: additional supervisor approval letter required.

9. Photo (white background).

10. Bank statement (student’s name; at least USD 5,000 per semester).

11. Health record (may be submitted after passing internal screening).

12. Certificate of GCW Non-Degree / GCA / GCW IUP (Basic or Advanced, minimum grade C).

Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Students must also submit a Parent’s Support Letter (in Bahasa) confirming financial and emotional support. This is required during the interview process.

Application Procedure

1. Submit application via the Study Abroad Form.

2. Compile all documents into one .zip/.rar file (PDF format).

3. Send confirmation email to studyabroad@its.ac.id with subject:
   “Confirmation Study Abroad Application_CNU_NAME_NRP”

• Application Deadline: 20 April 2026 (09:00 WIB).

• Interview Date: 22 April 2026.
