Dear ITS Students,

Okanagan College (OC), Canada, has opened applications for the Fall 2026 semester exchange through UMAP (late August–December 2026). Selected students must comply with entry regulations set by the Government of Canada.

ITS students participating in this exchange have the opportunity to apply for the Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED). Selected students must also comply with entry regulations set by the Government of Canada.

The SEED program aims to reduce poverty in developing ASEAN countries and contribute to achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Scholarship Information

Successful applicants may receive funding of up to CAD 10,200 for one semester. The scholarship can be used to cover expenses such as:

Visa fees
Airfare
Accommodation
Other related costs

Important:

Scholarship funds are typically disbursed around Week 5 of the academic semester, so students must prepare initial funds independently.
Please ensure you review current vaccination and quarantine regulations before travel.

Eligibility

This program is open to ITS undergraduate (S1) students from batch 2023 and 2024 in the following departments:

Visual Communication Design (DKV)
Developmental Studies
Business Management
Interior Design
Product Design

Participants must:

Take at least 3 courses
Transfer all credits into MBKM (compulsory or elective courses)

Required Documents

CV
Official academic transcript (English version) with minimum GPA 3.25
Valid English proficiency certificate:
- TOEFL ITP ≥ 550
- IELTS ≥ 6.5 (minimum band 6.0)
- TOEFL iBT ≥ 80
- Duolingo ≥ 110
  (TOEFL/TEFL/EFL from UPT Bahasa ITS or prediction tests are not accepted)
Certificate of Enrollment
Scanned passport (valid for at least one year from 1 September 2026)
Recommendation letter from academic advisor/Head of Department (max. one page, on official ITS letterhead) explaining:
- Nature of study/research
- Benefits to candidate and ITS
- Commitment to addressing poverty and development gaps in ASEAN
Letter of Intent (max. one page, English or French) explaining:
- Field of study/research
- Alignment with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
- Relevant SDG(s)
- How learning will be applied to address poverty and development gaps in ASEAN

Application Submission

Submit your application via: ITS Study Abroad Form
Compile all documents into a single .zip/.rar file before submission.
