The DKU International Summer School (ISS) will return in 2026 with an improved and more engaging design. The program aims to strengthen global learning while offering students valuable academic and cultural experiences. As a result, participants can expand their knowledge, connect with peers, and enjoy a meaningful summer in Korea.

The 2026 ISS comprises three structured programs, each thoughtfully developed to promote academic excellence, cultural immersion, and international engagement. Moreover, these programs offer students an exceptional opportunity to earn academic credits, cultivate global networks, and participate in a diverse learning community.
June 17 – July 3, 2026The Global Village is a two-week teaching internship created for native or fluent speakers of multiple languages. Participants receive up to USD 1,000 in flight reimbursement and complimentary on-campus housing.Furthermore, eligibility for this program is limited to students who are also enrolled in the Academic Program.
July 5 – 31, 2026The Academic Program is a four-week offering featuring multidisciplinary courses taught by experienced faculty members. In addition, the curriculum is complemented by cultural activities and field excursions, enabling participants to gain broader perspectives on Korean society while strengthening their academic foundations.
August 3 – 21, 2026This three-week intensive program focuses on Korean language learning and cultural exploration. Consequently, it serves as an excellent option for students seeking to enhance their linguistic proficiency and deepen their appreciation of Korea’s cultural heritage.
