About the Programme

MINDSET 2025 is a five-day international mobility programme hosted by the School of Distance Education, Universiti Sains Malaysia. It offers students practical exposure to innovation, digital business strategies, and entrepreneurship through interactive workshops, industry visits, and cultural experiences.

Programme Objectives

Develop critical thinking, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills
Gain hands-on experience in business model development, prototyping, and digital marketing
Foster international collaboration and cultural exchange
Engage with local SMEs and real-world business environments

Programme Schedule

Day 1 – 24 November

Ice-breaking and business games
Business idea walk in George Town, Penang

Day 2 – 25 November

Business Model Canvas workshop

Day 3 – 26 November

“Think It, Make It” prototyping workshop
Alumni sharing session
SME (UMKM) industry visit

Day 4 – 27 November

Visual strategies for digital marketing

Day 5 – 28 November

Digital marketing strategies
Turning views into visual value at Penang Hill
Awards and closing ceremony

Who Should Join?

This programme is open to undergraduate students from any discipline who are interested in business, innovation, and entrepreneurship. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and explore.

Eligibility for ITS Students

Open to:

Bachelor (S1): All batches
Master (S2): All batches

Requirements:

English proficiency: B1 CEFR or above (good or fluent communication)
Able to attend the full program schedule

Required Documents

Academic Transcript (English version)
Passport Information Page (valid at least until June 2026)
English Proficiency Certificate (B1 CEFR or equivalent)
