Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan is now opening registration for the Lab Internship – Student Research Program 2026 intake March, April 2026. This program offers ITS students the opportunity to experience a different academic and research environment, explore specific research topics, and engage in international academic collaboration at SIT.
The internship duration ranges from a minimum of 3 weeks to a maximum of 90 days, starting from March, April 2026.Note: ITS students are not allowed to contact SIT professors directly.
Tuition Fee: Waived
Registration Fee: JPY 30,000 (mandatory)
Other Expenses: Students are responsible for their own costs including learning materials, accommodation, living expenses, roundtrip airfare, visa, and travel insurance.
Open to ITS students from:
Diploma & Undergraduate (S1): Batch 2022 and 2023
Master’s (S2) & Doctoral (S3): All batches
Final year/semester students will be prioritized.
Students may choose from two options:
Designated Research ProjectsProfessors with specific topics and student requirements are listed here:Designated Research ProjectsRecommended if you don’t have your own research topic.
