Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands, Student Exchange Spring Semester 2026

Windesheim University of Applied Sciences is now open for exchange applications for the Spring Semester 2025 (February – June 2026). The tuition fee is waived, but selected students must cover the following expenses:

  • Learning materials

  • Accommodation and living costs

  • Roundtrip flight ticket

  • Travel and health insurance

University & Course Information

Academic Requirements

ITS students are required to take at least 22.5 ECTS and no more than 30 ECTS. Please plan your courses carefully to ensure maximum credit transfer.

Health Insurance

Health insurance is mandatory while studying in the Netherlands. Make sure to arrange your health coverage before departure.

Housing

  • Windesheim does not offer on-campus housing, but they will assist students in finding rooms through local housing providers in Zwolle.

  • Please note that availability is limited and not guaranteed.

Visa

The Windesheim International Office will assist non-EU/EEA students with the visa and residence permit application process.

Estimated Living Expenses

Average monthly cost: approximately €1000, including:

  • Housing: €300–€650

  • Meals at campus canteen: from €6

  • Public transport (discounts available):

    • Bus tickets: €1–€3

    • Train (Schiphol to Zwolle): €21.60 (one-way, 2nd class)

Eligibility

Open to ITS S1 students from the 2023 intake.

Required Documents (in English, PDF format)

  1. Curriculum Vitae (max. 2 pages)

  2. University transcript (GPA > 3.0 out of 4.0)

  3. Passport info page (valid for at least one year from January 2025)

  4. English proficiency test result:

    • IELTS: 6.0

    • TOEFL iBT: 80 / PBT: 550 / CBT: 213

    • Cambridge: B2

    • TOEFL prediction accepted (UPT Bahasa screenshots not accepted)

  5. Motivation letter (max. 2 pages)

    • Must be signed by student and academic advisor/Head of Department

  8. Windesheim Learning Agreement – Download here

  9. Certificate of Enrollment

  10. For visa applicants: copy of all passport pages and/or residence permit

  11. Global Competence Workshop (GCW) Certificate (minimum grade C) – mandatory

  12. Parent Support Letter (signed and stating financial and program awareness-no format required)

Incomplete applications will not be processed.

  • Combine all documents into one .zip or .rar file (PDF format only).

  • After submitting the form, email studyabroad@its.ac.id to confirm.

Deadline

  • Application deadline: 7 October 2025 at 09.00 WIB

  • Interview date: 9 October 2025
