Chonnam National University (CNU), South Korea, is now accepting applications for the Fall 2025 Semester Exchange Program.
Spring Semester 2026 (March – June 2026)
Tuition fee waived.
ITS Global Engagement may select up to two ITS students to receive the AIMS Scholarship, subject to Chonnam National University’s confirmation as an AIMS participating institution for 2026. The scholarship is typically available for students applying to the Engineering or AI Convergence departments.
If confirmed, the AIMS Scholarship will cover dormitory and meal plans during the semester. Other students may still join the program without the scholarship.
Please note that the student’s major at ITS must match the department at Chonnam National University in order to be eligible for the AIMS Scholarship.
⚠️ Please note: As of now, Chonnam National University’s participation in the AIMS program for Spring 2026 is still pending official confirmation (expected around November–December 2025). Scholarship availability is not guaranteed at this stage.
Other accepted students can still join without the AIMS scholarship.
Note: Students are responsible for their own expenses, including flights, visa, travel insurance, dormitory fees, quarantine (if required), and living costs.
ITS students (D4/S1) Batch 2022 & 2023.
Majors must match CNU’s available departments.
Students must check available courses in advance.
Up to 20 SKS transferable at ITS (compulsory, elective, or MBKM).
Maximum credits at CNU: 18 credits (6 courses for undergraduates; 3 courses for graduates).
Students cannot retake courses already completed at ITS.
English-taught course list will be released on January.

Exchange students must stay in the campus dormitory.
AIMS recipients receive dormitory and meal plan support.
Other students must cover dormitory and living costs independently.

Official Academic Transcript in English (GPA minimum 2.75).
Certificate of Enrollment.
Passport copy (valid at least until September 2026).
Valid English proficiency test score (TOEFL ITP ≥ 500 / IELTS / TOEFL iBT).
Not accepted: Duolingo, TOEFL Prediction, screenshots, Dirpendik TOEFL.
IUP students may submit a department statement confirming English instruction.
Recommendation letter from academic advisor.

Signed by Head of Department.
Batch 2022: additional supervisor approval letter required.
Photo (white background).
Bank statement (student’s name; at least USD 5,000 per semester).
Health record (may be submitted after passing internal screening).
Certificate of GCW Non-Degree / GCA / GCW IUP (Basic or Advanced, minimum grade C).
Incomplete applications will not be processed.
Students must also submit a Parent’s Support Letter (in Bahasa) confirming financial and emotional support. This is required during the interview process.
