Dear ITS Students,

National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan, is now accepting applications for the Spring 2026 Semester Exchange Program (Feb. – Jun. 2026).

Program Benefits:

• Tuition fee is waived.
• Selected participants may receive a stipend.

However, students are responsible for their own expenses, including learning materials, dormitory fees, living costs, round-trip flight tickets, visa fees, and insurance.

1. Program for Academic Exchange

This program offers courses in Chinese or English across various faculties, including:

• Liberal Arts
• Agriculture & Natural Resources
• Engineering
• Electrical Engineering & Computer Science
• Veterinary Medicine
• Management
• Law & Politics
• Life Sciences
• Science
• International College of Innovation and Industry Liaison

Eligibility: Open to S1 batch 2023 and S2/S3 students (all batches).
Credit Transfer: Students must maximize their transferable credits.

2. Lab Exchange Program

This program provides an opportunity to conduct research under a professor’s supervision. Each student will be assigned a mentor professor for guidance.

Eligibility: Open to S1 batch 2022 and 2023 and S2/S3 students (all batches).

Accommodations

Students need to pay for fees required for living in NCHU dormitory per semester (about 5 months): Basic fees for one semester, including electricity (prepayment), public cleaning, etc. around NT$15,081/Male Dormitory (≒US$470) and NT$16,878/Female Dormitory (≒US$530).

• Please notice that students will be located in different dormitories every semester. The price we provide is for your reference. The Division of Student Housing Service will provide the updated prices.

INSURANCE

Exchange students must have valid health insurance during their stay at NCHU.

• If you already have international emergency medical insurance, bring an English version.
• If not, you must purchase insurance upon registration.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:

1. Biography (300-500 words)
2. Official Academic Transcript (English version)
3. Certificate of Enrollment (English version)
4. Valid English Proficiency Test Score (TOEFL/IELTS/IBT)
   • Minimum EFL 500(screenshots & prediction tests are NOT accepted)
5. Two Recommendation Letters from lecturers
6. Study Plan / Research Plan (max 2 pages, TNR 12, margin 3-3-3-3)
7. Learning Agreement & Statement Letter (Download here)
8. GCW Non-Degree Certificate / Result Test (Min C or 75) – Only for S1 applicants
9. Parental Support Statement (in Bahasa, confirming financial & mental support – no format required)

Incomplete applications will not be processed.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Submit your application via: Study Abroad Form.
2. All files must be in PDF format and compiled into one .zip/.rar file.
3. After submitting the Study Abroad Application Form, send a confirmation email to studyabroad@its.ac.id with the subject:
