Deakin University, Australia, through the Faculty of Science, Engineering, & Built Environment (SEBE), is opening registration for the Research Internship Program 2026. This program provides ITS students with the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience under the guidance of Deakin supervisors and co-supervisors from ITS, while exploring pathways to postgraduate or PhD study in Australia.
The research internship will begin in 2026, with starting dates varying depending on the project selected. Duration and start time are negotiable with the respective supervisor.

Tuition Fee: Waived
Other Expenses: Students are responsible for their own costs including accommodation, living expenses, roundtrip airfare, visa, and travel insurance.
Open to ITS students from:
Undergraduate (S1): Final-year students (Batch 2022)
Postgraduate (S2 & S3): All batches
Minimum GPA: 3.20/4.00 (equivalent to 8.0/10.0)
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria and will be shortlisted by ITS before being nominated to Deakin.
