Surabaya, ITS Global Engagement – Dalian University of Technology (DUT) in collaboration with BGI invites undergraduate and master’s students, along with highly motivated high school students, to participate in the “Chinese + Intelligent Bioengineering” International Summer School. This program offers a unique opportunity to explore the integration of bioscience and artificial intelligence, experiencing China’s innovations in Intelligent Genomics, Precision Medicine, and Sustainable Agriculture.

Program Overview:

Duration: July 13 to August 3, 2025
Location: Dual-city model (2 weeks in Dalian, 1 week in Shenzhen)
Instruction Language: Full English

Key Program Highlights:

Cutting-edge Research: Participants will explore areas such as bio-intelligent computing and hardware, AI-driven synthetic biology, and intelligent bio-manufacturing.
Hands-on Projects: Engage in practical experiences including gene editing optimization, biological big data modeling, and brain-computer interface development.
Exclusive Opportunities: The program is limited to 50 selective seats, offering rare 1:1 access to industry pioneers and visionaries.
Industry Immersion: Gain in-depth industry experience with exclusive one-on-one sessions featuring expert career coaching.
Prestigious Certification: Receive a Summer School Certificate co-awarded by world-class universities and industry leaders.
Optional Research Internship: Participants have the option to add an extra one-week research internship with BGI’s top-tier scientific teams for hands-on experience, professional certification, and recommendation letters. (Additional fees apply)

Financial Support & Fee Waivers:

Scholarships are available, and outstanding students may apply for tuition waivers.
Travel Awards of up to 2,000 CNY for flights from Dalian to Shenzhen are offered to outstanding students.
The BGI Serbia-China Scholarship provides travel awards of up to EUR 1,000 for Serbian students.
