Program Overview

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), Chiang Rai, Thailand, is now accepting applications for its Fall Semester 2025 student exchange program. This program is open to students from a variety of fields. Tuition is waived for all selected exchange participants.

• Program Period: August–December 2025

• Tuition Fee: Waived for accepted students

• Location: MFU, Chiang Rai, Thailand

Specific Opportunity: AIMS Scholarship (Undergraduate Only)

AIMS scholarship support is available specifically for undergraduate students taking courses in the Department of Biodiversity at MFU.
Only students from the following ITS departments are eligible for AIMS:

• Biology

• Ocean Engineering

AIMS Scholarship Benefits:

• Living expenses up to IDR 14,000,000 per semester

• Roundtrip economy flight reimbursement up to IDR 5,400,000 (via ITS Global Engagement)

• Tuition and administrative fees waived at MFU

• Accommodation scholarship of 3,000 THB per month for a duration of 4 months

Student-Covered Expenses

• Health check (if required)

• Visa and insurance

• Daily living costs exceeding scholarship support

• Other personal costs

Students applying for other departments/courses outside of Biodiversity are still welcome to apply under the general exchange scheme, but will not be eligible for AIMS funding.

Eligibility for ITS Students

• Undergraduate (S1) students from batch 2022 or 2023

• Master’s (S2) students who have completed at least one semester

• Students with strong English skills (spoken and written)

Required Documents (in PDF format)

2. Curriculum Vitae (in English)

3. Official academic transcript with ITS stamp and Directorate of Education signature (request via SIAKAD)

4. Valid English proficiency certificate (choose one):

   • TOEFL PBT ≥ 500 / iBT ≥ 60

   • IELTS ≥ 6.0

   • TOEIC ≥ 580

   • DUOLINGO ≥ 100

   • TEFL ITS ≥ 500
     Note: TOEFL Prediction and Dirpendik test scores are not accepted

5. Passport scan (valid until at least October 2026)

7. Parent’s consent letter (in Bahasa Indonesia, confirming permission and financial responsibility)

8. Screenshot of PDDIKTI profile (showing active student status)

9. Certificate of Enrollment (request via SIAKAD; purpose: “applying for AIMS 2025”)

10. GCW/GCA Certificate:

    • GCW Non-Degree Certificate (minimum grade: C) or test result (minimum score: 80)

    • Master’s students may use Stamp4It Certificate (minimum 3 stamps)

Incomplete or late submissions will not be processed.
