DGIST Graduate School Research Internship for ITS Students
The DGIST Research Internship for Undergraduates offers a six-week interdisciplinary research experience at DGIST’s graduate school in South Korea. This program provides an opportunity for students to engage in hands-on research and explore various topics under the guidance of DGIST faculty.
Internship Details
Internship Period: June 30, 2025 – August 8, 2025

Eligibility (ITS Students)
- Open to D4 and S1 students (Batch 2021, 2022, 2023)
- Final-year or final-semester students will be prioritized
- S2 and S3 students are not eligible
Research and Work Conditions
- Participants will conduct a research internship in one lab within six departments at DGIST Graduate School under the supervision of a DGIST professor.
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8-hour workday, excluding a one-hour lunch break) Working hours may vary by lab.
Financial Support
- Total support: KRW 930,000, which includes:
- Dormitory fee (KRW 330,000) covered by DGIST for the period June 29 – August 9, 2025.
- Daily life expenses support (KRW 600,000 total), provided in two installments to a Korean bank account (KRW 15,000 per day).
- Participants must arrive on June 29, 2025, and depart on August 9, 2025. Extensions are possible, but additional fees must be covered personally.
Housing
- All participants will stay in DGIST student dormitory (shared room, 2 people per room).
Visa Requirements
- All participants must obtain a C-3-1 (Short-term Visit) visa before arriving in Korea.
- D-2 visa holders currently studying in Korea must apply for a work permit.
Additional Notes
- Participants are responsible for their international and domestic travel, visa application fees, health insurance, and other personal expenses.
- A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon fulfilling program requirements.
- Additional activities, including cultural sessions and an industrial tour, will be provided for international participants.

Incomplete applications will not be processed.
