Dear ITS Students,

We are excited to share an opportunity to participate in Humber’s Global Summer School (GSS) 2025, taking place in Toronto, Canada, from July 11 – August 2, 2025. This program offers an immersive academic and cultural experience, bringing together students and professionals from around the world for career-focused, experiential learning in one of the most multicultural cities in the world.

Eligibility

This program is open to Diploma, Bachelor, and Master students at ITS.

Program Highlights

Scholarship Opportunity: Students at UMAP member institutions (including ITS) can apply for a scholarship to support their participation. Visit the UMAP Student Connection Online (USCO) for details.

Optional Bootcamp: Creative Thinking: Tools for Success Bootcamp (July 4 – 12, 2025) – an additional one-week program before the main summer school.
Academic & Professional Development Courses:
- 10 academic courses (3 credits / 6 ECTS) with hands-on learning.
- 3 professional development courses for faculty and staff.
Comprehensive Support: Airport pick-up, health insurance, and official Humber transcript.
Exciting Social Activities: Niagara Falls trip, Blue Jays baseball game, Treetop Trekking, Boat Cruise on Lake Ontario, and more.

How to Apply

Prepare the following documents for nomination:

CV (including photo, birth date, department, email, and phone number).
Latest Official Academic Transcript (English version).
Valid English Proficiency Test:
- TOEFL/TEFL/EFL (min. 477) or IELTS (min. 6.0).
- Screenshots or TOEFL predictions are not accepted.
Scanned Valid Passport (valid for at least one year).
Short Motivation Letter (in English) answering:
Statement Letter (download from this link).
Parental Support Letter (signed by your parents, acknowledging financial support).
Certificate of GCW Non-Degree/GCW IUP Basic or Advanced/GCA (minimum grade C).

Submission Guidelines:

Submit your application via this form: https://its.id/studyabroadITS.
Compile all documents into one .zip/.rar file.
After submission, send a confirmation email to studyabroad@its.ac.id with the subject:
“Confirmation Study Abroad Application_HumberGSS_NAME_NRP”

Application Deadline extended: May 8, 2025 (09.00 WIB)
Interview Date: May 9, 2025

Selected participants must cover additional expenses not included in the program fee, such as:

Flight tickets
Visa fees
Meals and personal expenses
Other miscellaneous costs
