[Urgent] Sato Yo Scholarship for One Year 2024-2025 Student Exchange/Sandwich Program at Shibaura Institute of Technology

Dear ITS Students,

Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) Japan would like to offer you One Year Sandwich Program (student exchange) intake 2024/2025 (start from Fall 2024 to Spring 2025) with Sato Yo Scholarship

The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, registration fee (30.000 JPY per semester)  dorms and living expenses in Japan. You may use the scholarship to cover all these things.

Benefit:
– Scholarship; JPY120,000 per month
– Lump-sum: JPY100,000
– Round trip ticket
– Transportation fee from the airport to the accommodation upon the arrival in Japan

Selected student must participate in the SIT course-taking sandwich program from Fall 2024 to Spring 2025.  (September 2024 to July 2025)

This special program only open for ITS Students S1 batch 2022 and S2 batch 2023 and these students must aware with the travel requirement from Japan Government. The students also must responsible with special task (such as make a report, joint/gatheringseminar etc) if you are accepted in this program under Sato Yo scholarship scheme.

Please kindly note that ITS Students must take and transfer the courses minimum 20 sks for S1 and 6 sks for S2 per semester. You need to refer in each semester (1st semester refer to fall, 2nd semester refer to spring)

Here the requirement for this program

1. CV (please make sure that you write clearly full name, birth of date, phone number and email in this CV)
2. Certificate of Enrollment
3. Latest of An Academic Transcript in English version (GPA min 3,00 out of 4,00)
4. Scanned Passport Information page with validity minimum 1 year from Sept 2024. If you dont have a passport yet, You need to submit a statement letter with your signature and your advisor/dept that you agree to submit your passport information scanned maximum by 1 April 2024
5. Valid of English Proficiency CEFR B2 equivalent or higher, such as IELTS with score 5.5-6.5 or TOEFL iBT with score 72-94 or TOEFL ITP min 500 will be accepted (The screenshoot score of EFL from UPT Bahasa web, TEFL and TOEFL Prediction are not acceptable)
6. 1 recommendation letter from your lecturer
7. Motivation Letter (One Page A4 Arial 11, Margin 3,3,3 3). Please also indicate why you are eligible for this opportunity
8. Statement Letter & Learning Agreement (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ). Those files must be signed by applicants and the Head/Secretary of Department
9. Pledge Form ( Please kindly signed it and leave blank for institution coordinator section)
10. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min 80 (S2 Applicants can replace it with R2SEP certificate)

If you have finished and submitted your Study Abroad Application form, YOU HAVE TO SEND email to studyabroad@its.ac.id confirming that you have filled out the Study Abroad Application Form and submit it. Please use this subject: “Confirmation Study Abroad Application_SIT_SatoYo_NAME_NRP”. The submission deadline extended until 12 February 2024 ( 09.00 WIB). The Interview Session will be held on 15 February 2024.
