Scholarship Information for Beijing University of Chemical Technology

Dear ITS Students,

Here are some informations for you who wants to study at Beijing University of Chemical Technology. There are 3 scholarships that you can apply:

1. Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC Scholarship)

What does the scholarship cover?

• Tuition and accommodation;
• Living expenses :Master 3000 yuan / month,Dr 3500 yuan / month;
• Comprehensive medical insurance: 800 yuan / person /year;

How to apply?

There are two ways to apply for CSC Scholarship:

1. Apply through the Chinese Embassy/Consulate or Ministry of Education in your country -Type A(Recommended method of application, for undergraduate students and postgraduate students). Note: CC applications typically begin in January every year but for more specific application dates please contact the respetive institutions(Embassy or Ministry)
2. Apply through BUCT -Type B (for postgraduate students). Applicants must to submit the application to both following website: BUCT online application system http://study.buct.edu.cn and CSC application system https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn(BUCT Agency No. is 10010). The application deadline is April 15,2024 (rolling admission).

Note: The Chinese Government Scholarship-University Graduate Program is set for the best talents.

2. Beijing University of Chemical Technology Presidential Scholarship

What does the scholarship cover?

• Tuition and accommodation;
• Living expenses: Master 3000 yuan / month,Dr 3500 yuan / month;
• Comprehensive medical insurance: 800 yuan / person /year;

Who can apply?

• Doctoral students

How to apply?

• Applicants must to submit the application to both following website: BUCT online application system http://study.buct.edu.cn and CSC application system https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn (BUCT Agency No. is 10010, type B). The application deadline is April 15, 2024.

3. Beijing Government Scholarship

What does the scholarship cover?

• 1 year/half year tuition fee (review every year)

Who can apply?

• Undergraduate students and postgraduate students

How to apply?

• Register account and activate in http://study.buct.edu.cn, fill out your application online, School of International Education organize the assessment according to application materials. The application deadline is June 30, 2024.

Admission Materials (undergraduate)

1. CV;

2. Original Transcript and Diploma of the highest Degree (notarized);

3. Passport size photos, passport copy;

4. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form;

5. No Criminal Record Certificate;

6. HSK Proficiency certificates ( H S K level 5 (including) above);

7. Originals or copies of academic publication, patent, and other academic achievements (if any).

Admission Materials (postgraduate)

1. CV;

2. Two letters of reference from professor or associate professor;

3. Study and research plan;

4. Original Transcript and Diploma of the highest Degree (notarized);

5. Passport size photos, passport copy;

6. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form;

7. Acceptance letter from one supervisor;

8. No Criminal Record Certificate;

9. English or HSK proficiency certificates ;

10.Originals or copies of academic publication, patent, and other academic achievements (If any, priority will be given).

Note:

1. Postgraduate applicants requires a preliminary acceptance letter from a BUCT professor and upload it online. Or else you will not be considered as a candidate.
