Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) through the Directorate of Global Engagement celebrated partnership by holding International Partnership Day (IPD) for Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) on Tuesday, February 7 and 14, 2023. Not only providing a platform for international partners to network and catch up with global trends and highlights, ITS gave awards to seventeen (17) excellent partners including institutions and figures.
The twin sessions were opened virtually by ITS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mochamad Ashari, M.Eng. To reminisce the cooperation occurring in the covid-recovery year, a video about the collaboration recap of ITS and partners in 2022 was played, showing a transition of the on-screen happiness of online activities to vibrant on-site activities.
“The kindness that you have sparked and the inspiration that we have gotten keep us making innovations. And this year, we decided to present awards to our excellent partners.” Reini Ariani, ITS Ge’s staff for International Partnerships, as the Master of Ceremony, started the awarding sessions.
The Distinguished Partners Awards is dedicated to ITS international partner universities, institutions, and also individuals who are considered to have extraordinary contributions to the development of ITS international partnerships and collaboration, especially in the fields of academic, mobilities, and partnerships in research.
